This trip with the Geluksexpres takes you past the windmills of Roerdalen. E start at the Gitstappermolen. A mill building in 1750. It is a water mill where corn was ground. It is located on the Roode Beek. Then we drive to Vlodrop, where we pass the Vlodroppermolen, a watermill from 1875. It is a turbine mill also intended to grind corn. Then we drive to Sint Odilënberg where we pass the windmill of Verbeek. This is a Belt mill from 1883. It is a round stone mill where corn was also ground. Then we drive through the Ohé to Melick where we pass the Prins Bernard mill. It is a semi-enclosed standard mill from 1999 (rebuilt). Then we drive back to the GItstap.
