Nijmegen-Gennep, along the Maas, through beautiful forests and Mookerheide.

Over the bridge we find beautiful paths along mesh hedges and river landscape. The spiers of the church in Cuijk soon appear. Here over the Maas with the ferry and further on a beautiful view of the sailing boats. Good places to take a break. Through very beautiful forests to the actual starting point 9 on the Sionsweg. Here we follow the route of the Tour of the Netherlands to Gennep through many deciduous forests. At 47 you can turn right to view the hunting lodge. Further on after Bisselt there is a beautiful landscape in the Zevendal. On the other side the Mookerheide. At Plasmolen you can take plenty of breaks and then continue the route to Gennep. The last part is beautifully maintained, with beautiful natural streams and many information boards. Don't forget to visit the ruins of the Genneper house. It's all on the information boards. Finally you arrive at the market at the beautiful town hall of Gennep.
