The Maas is one of the great showpieces of Limburg. This route takes you along the banks of the Maas in the Roosteren area. Stroll through the green surroundings and watch the river flow calmly. That is enjoying pure nature.
The church village of Roosteren
Maaseik, this church village has existed since the beginning of the 8th century as part of the abbey of Susteren. Near the village there are no less than two castles that are worth seeing: Kasteel Ter Borch and Kasteel Eijckholt. You will also find the Sint-Jacobus de Meerkerk in Roosteren.
