Description
A walk through and around the villa villages of Aalst and Waalre. The walk offers a variety of forest, heathland, agricultural landscape and partly runs through the built-up area of both villages. In Waalre you walk past the former town hall that was destroyed by fire. Part of the route runs parallel to the former railway line Eindhoven - Valkenswaard. In the meantime converted into a beautiful cycle path with a real railway cross at the intersections, as is customary at railway crossings. You will find catering facilities at various places along the route.
By public transport, the route can be reached with regional buses 171 and 172 from Eindhoven station (or from Valkenswaard). Get off at the Burgemeester Mollaan stop.
