Around the Naardermeer

This route is based on the existing circular walk'Holland at its most beautiful Naardermeer\\\' by Natuurmonumenten. With a small adjustment of the original route of 19.8 km, a round of 17.2 km has been made. With the start from Gasterij Stadzigt you walk partly on existing roads that sometimes come close to motorways, but also via quite muddy paths and on boardwalks right through the nature reserve. Halfway there is a nice terrace for a coffee stop at restaurant Uit & Meer at Fort Uitermeer, part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam.
