The rolling landscape around Doenrade

The rolling green landscape of South Limburg is perfect for a nice walk. This route takes you to the hamlet of Windraak. Part of the route crosses the border with Germany. On low-traffic roads it is nice and quiet to walk between fields and grassy meadows full of cows. You walk over the Hoog Roth, one of the highest points in the area. It is wonderfully quiet here, a nice place to get a breath of fresh air and clear your head.
