This tour lets you enjoy all the beauty along the Limburg Maas. You cross the river on a ferry, and on the other side of the bank you cycle on car-free roads between the floodplains and meadows. You regularly see monumental farms along the route. In Blitterswijck you pass the Protestant Church from 1828 and the Church of Our Lady's Nativity from the fifteenth century. The last part of the route takes you through De Maasduinen National Park, the longest river dune belt in the Netherlands. The national park includes several sub-areas. You cycle through the Bergerheide, where you will find heathlands, forests, fens and drifting sands. With a bit of luck you will encounter the shepherd with her flock of sheep. At the Reindersmeer you can enjoy a beautiful view.
