Description

This route takes you through nature in the border area just below the Brabant Chaam. First you drive through the Prinsenbos, ideal for an immediate downshift. Then you drive through the stream valley of the Chaamse Beek. From the saddle you look out over a landscape of species-rich grasslands and willows. You pass through a number of hamlets, after which you cross the border with Belgium and drive through Meerle. Here you can take a look at the fifteenth-century St. Salvator Church. You drive back towards the Netherlands along the banks of the Mark river. You cycle through Meersel-Dreef, the northernmost village in Belgium. Finally, you drive through the Mastbos and the Ulvenhoutse Bos, after which you get off at Wilgenhart and enjoy a terrace.
