Tour of Venray with the kids

From Pannenkoekenhuis De Perdstal you take a short route over quiet roads. Ideal for with the kids! You leisurely drive first to Weverslo, a hamlet where you see several monumental farms. You then cycle along the Loobeekdal, a small-scale nature reserve with swamp forests and species-rich grasslands. A little later you cycle along the edge of the Kempkensberg forest area. In Merselo you pass the Nooit Gedacht, a flour mill from 1867. You cross the Loobeek, after which you cycle through the Vlakwater nature reserve. This is a former drifting sand area that was planted with coniferous wood at the end of the eighteenth century. After getting off, you can enjoy a pancake with the children at De Perdstal.
