If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for a nice bike ride, settle in the area between Arnhem and the German border: the Liemers. This cycle route leads you through this part of the unknown Netherlands. Cycle through beautiful nature reserves with alternating river and meadow landscapes. You will discover a complete and surprising area here. How about Zevenaar, for example, with its beautiful historic buildings? On the way you can get off in Duiven and enjoy an ice cream at IJssalon La Calamita. They have ice cream here in a lot of different flavors, something for everyone! Cycle through Westervoort and Duiven towards Recreatiegebied Rhederlaag. With over 350 hectares of water surface, this is the largest water sports paradise in the eastern Netherlands. The ideal location for a refreshing dip on a hot day.
