If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy cycling, settle in the area between Arnhem and the German border: the Liemers. This cycle route takes you through this part of the unknown Netherlands. Cycle through beautiful nature reserves with varied river and meadow landscapes. You will discover a complete and surprising area here. How about Zevenaar, for example, with its beautiful historic buildings? Along the way you can stop in Duiven and enjoy an ice cream at IJssalon La Calamita. They have ice cream here in a lot of different flavors, something for everyone! Cycle through Westervoort and Duiven towards the Rhederlaag Recreation Area. With over 350 hectares of water surface, this is the largest water sports paradise in Eastern Netherlands. The ideal location for a refreshing dip on a hot day.
