Taste the atmosphere of the Giro on the Route Bianca

De Hoge Veluwe National Park and Veluwezoom National Park were the scene of three stages of the Giro d\\\'Italia 2016. A beautiful cycling area! On the first part of this challenging route you cycle straight through De Hoge Veluwe National Park towards Apeldoorn. Originally, this national park consisted of extensive forests, but due to logging and grazing, these forests have slowly changed into large heathlands with here and there a fen and drifting sand areas. Here you can relax and then cycle into the pleasant center of Apeldoorn. You cycle back along the edge of the Veluwezoom. You take a trip to Nijmegen and ultimately end up on the outskirts of Arnhem. The start and end point of the route is at the Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem.
