START at the church of Petegem-aan-de-Schelde

(spacious parking on Petegemplein)

You walk between meadows and fields, through the pleasant center of Elsegem, along the golf course of Golf & Country Club Oudenaarde, the snepbeek, the Scheldt and the Langemeersen nature reserve. Most of this walking route you walk on unpaved hiking trails, only a few short pieces in between and at the end you have to walk along the track.

On weekends and public holidays you can end the walk with a delicious homemade ice cream from ice cream parlor n\\\'ice place just behind the church, where dogs are also very welcome, because there is always a bowl of water ready. (www.niceplace.be)
