The Lytste Marren route from Heeg

A highly recommended route through the real Frisian countryside.  It is very varied, along meadows with the beautiful Frisian cows, typical farms  traditional and modern. Nice villages with their own cultural-historical monuments such as the unique Frisian farms, churches, old villas, s  and various mills. We cycle long busy waterways and  on beautiful cycle paths along some lakes. You can start in Heeg where there is sufficient parking space, on your return it is recommended to have a nice meal in one of the local restaurants. It is not for nothing that this route is called the most beautiful cycling route in Friesland. We will certainly cycle it more often.
