Dalfsen Rechteren Castle and Estates Den Berg, Den Aalshorst 18Km

Start/end at Herberg De Witte Gans (P Heinoseweg 30 Dalfsen). With this estate route you can enjoy wide views in a beautiful river landscape, with forests and estates in nature. You first walk to Rechteren Castle, the only medieval castle that has been preserved in Overijssel. You walk through the woods to the posh Landhuis Den Aalshorst. This country house from 1720 is surrounded by a real canal. In the countryside you can enjoy the many Saxon farms. You will also pass Huize Den Berg. This manor house dates from the fifteenth century, the current main building was built in 1705. The landscape is part of a vast estate zone, together with the adjacent estates of Rechteren, Den Aalshorst and Hoonhorst.
