Nature trail through the Vechtdal

Along the edge of the Lemelerberg you cycle to Giethmen. Here you pick up the old path that churchgoers used to walk back and forth to Ommen. The charming drawbridge over the Regge is an icon. In the vast forests of Boswachterij Ommen you can enjoy the unprecedented silence. After you have cycled through the centuries-old hamlet of Junne and the beautiful Overijsselse Vechtdal, you come through the Bentinckbos. A little later you cycle through Rheeze, one of the most beautiful villages in Overijssel. At the Brink there are several beautiful monumental farms. You cross the Vecht again, after which you cycle through the Beerzerveld. Between junctions 88 and 5 you explore the Vroeger Achterbroek: an ancient landscape of hayfields, hedgerows and woods. The route ends at Camping & Boscafe De Lemeler Esch.
