Description
Rotterdam is greener than you think! This route takes you past unexpectedly green places in and around Rotterdam. For example, the cycle route takes you past the Zuiderlijk Randpark. The construction of this started in 1974 and is partly still under development. The Sint Clara Kinderbos, the Molenweide, Vrijenburgbos, Vaanbos and Koolwaterbos are all part of this. The eye-catcher is the Pendrechtse Mill, a structure that dates from 1731 and was moved to the Zuiderlijk Randpark on a spectacular journey on a low loader in 1993.
