Description
You start this route in Veghel, a beautiful town in the Meijerij of 's-Hertogenbosch. From junction 82 you cycle a stretch along the former route of the German line, a railway connection that connected Boxtel with the German Wesel between 1878 and 1945. Further on you cycle through Mariaheide, where you pass the village church from 1912 and the former St. Nicholas monastery. Along fields and meadows you cycle at your leisure to Erp. Here you see the former town hall from 1791 and the St. Servatius church, a water board church from 1844. In Veghel you cycle a stretch along the Aa, a stream that rises in Limburg and flows into the Dommel in Den Bosch.
