Short walk at Zeumeren

Going out with the kids? Then walk this walk around Zeumeren, a recreation area just below Voorthuizen. You start the route at Holiday Park Ackersate. You can easily walk to Zeumeren along forests and meadows. The lake is officially called the Zeumerse Gat and was created by sand extraction. Here you walk through a park-like environment of recreational fields and groves. Between the shrubs and trees you have a beautiful view of the rippling water. The path is nice and quiet, so that the children can walk along without any worries. They can also play on one of the beaches in between. This way you can turn this walk into an extra fun trip before you walk back to Ackersate.
