Cycling through the Dinkelland

Just as the Dinkel meanders through Twente, you can also cycle in this region: at your leisure, enjoying the silence and the versatile nature. Ootmarsum is one of the gems of Twente. While Twente's cities followed the pace of the nations due to industrialization, Ootmarsum retained its historic character. You will feel like you are in the past here thanks to monuments such as the Mill of Oude Hengel, a flour mill from 1872. The Singraven Estate is an experience in itself. Here you can admire a manor, a centuries-old water mill, a coach house from 1868 and a number of tenant farms. The estate dates from the fourteenth century, the current country house from the seventeenth century.
