Cycling through the Dinkelland

In the catchment area of the Dinkel river you can take a beautiful bike ride through the scenic landscape. This is an ideal region for a day of relaxation, because you will find plenty of peace and natural beauty here. Just past junction 8 you cross the Dinkel for the first time, while driving along the edge of Landgoed het Harseveld. Then you cycle through the protected village view of Ootmarsum. Feel free to dismount and enjoy the historic atmosphere at your leisure. You will see several half-timbered houses and the thirteenth-century HH Simon and Judas Church. It is the only church in the Netherlands built in the Westphalian Romano-Gothic style. In the countryside you will pass a few more characteristic farms, before you get off again at Holiday Park Hofparken De Bergvennen.
