Cycling along the banks of the Maas

The landscape of this cycling tour consists of forests, riverside landscapes, and villages. First, you'll discover the charm of Kessel. Here you'll find the reconstructed Keverberg Castle, well worth a visit! Nearby, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream at IJssalon Clevers Kessel! You'll cycle through the Boekenderbos forest to Baarlo. Here you can catch a glimpse of Erp Castle, among other sights. Further on, you'll cross the Meuse River again by ferry. You'll then have a beautiful view of the spires of St. Michael's Church in Steyl. Along the Meuse, you'll cycle to Tegelen. Time for a drink and a snack on the terrace of Brasserie RACH, after which you'll cycle through the woods along the German-Dutch border. Finally, you'll pass through Ronkenstein, which has largely retained its eighteenth-century appearance.
