Stroll around the Nemerlaer Estate

The old Nemerlaer Estate is perfect for a varied walk. It is divided into two separate parts, both equally beautiful. First you walk through the southern part, here you will find coniferous forests and meadows, but also swampy areas. Not surprising, because this part connects to the Oisterwijkse Vennen and the Kampina. It can be wonderfully quiet here. You then cross the Essche Stroom, which has divided the estate in two since 1865. Here you walk through a park-like environment with stately avenues. You will also see fields and meadows surrounded by hedgerows and standard orchards. You can take a look at Nemerlaer Castle, which originally dates from the thirteenth century.
