A detour through the Achterhoek

Do you like walking on leafy roads through a quiet region? Then this detour through the countryside of Aalten is really something for you. The route takes you past grasslands, fields and bushes. It is nice and quiet here. Ideal for taking your mind off things or having a leisurely chat with your fellow hikers. You pass some beautiful old farms, they give your route extra cachet. At junction D27 you can take a look at the Keizersbeek. It has a length of over 18 kilometers and flows through the Achterhoek. At the end of the route you are welcome at Theetuin Rensink. Enjoy coffee with homemade cakes on the terrace surrounded by flowers or a delicious lunch prepared with regional products.
