Walk near Aalten

Between Aalten and IJzerlo you can enjoy the charm of the Achterhoek. Here you will find a varied landscape of meadows, fields and forests. It is wonderfully quiet here to walk on car-free roads. Part of the route consists of unpaved paths, so make sure you wear sturdy walking shoes. Just before junction D56 you walk a bit along the Keizersbeek. It has a length of over 18 kilometers and flows into the Aa-strang in Voorst. Further on you pass through IJzerlo, a characteristic agricultural village. The route then turns north. Soon you are walking between the meadows, civilization seems just as far away. After your walk, a terrace awaits you at Theetuin Rensink. Time for a drink and something tasty!
