This cycle route starts at Theetuin Rensink. The Achterhoek is a great place to cycle and you can drive into Germany almost unnoticed. A beautiful route through the greenery and past a few nice towns and estates. The German border area is worth exploring! In Aalten you drive through the picturesque old village center. Here you will see beautiful monuments, such as the twelfth-century Oude Helena Church. Then it is time to discover the authentic book town of Bredevoort. Then you cross the border and drive into Germany. In this sparsely populated border area you drive through a varied landscape of streams, vast meadows and small-scale forests. Enjoy nature in peace and quiet! You drive back via the border village of Dinxperlo. Here is the beautiful St. Liborius Church, the tower dates from 1400.
