Tour Doetinchem, Kruisbergse Bossen and Keijenborg

In the area around Doetinchem you cycle on car-free roads through the beautiful Achterhoek scenic landscape. An ideal environment to leave your busy life behind and switch back. Just past junction 14 you cycle through Landgoed Slangenburg. Here you see a country house from 1612, forests and cultivated lands. In the spring the blooming rhododendrons are a feast for the eyes. The avenue system is unique to the Netherlands because of its scale and authenticity. You make a shortcut through Doetinchem, after which you pass De Kelder, a former manor, on the edge of the city. In the Kruisbergse Bossen you can enjoy the peace and fresh air, further on you will pass through a number of connected estates, such as De Berken and Hoenderkamp. The route ends at the Heeren van Wolfersveen.
