Tour of Dannemeer and Scharmer Ae

Beautiful walk through the Roegwold nature reserve, a wetland nature reserve with swamp forest and peat. You will find a lot of reeds in't Roegwold, with the associated birds. While walking you can hear the reed warblers, the bluethroat or the humming of a bittern. Along the way you can cross Lake Danne via the photogenic Knuppelpad, but those who find this a bit exciting can take a detour. Between Schaaphok and Woudbloem you walk on an attractive narrow road along the Scharmer Ae. In Woudbloem there are characteristic white workers' houses on the water. You walk from Woudbloem to the parking lot at the end of the Hooilandseweg via a free'rough\\\' path.
