Tour of Luttenberg past open-air theater and agricultural museum

Your route starts at Recreatiebedrijf De Huttert. Via surprising paths you quickly reach the village edge of Luttenberg and you walk straight into the silence of the adjacent Luttenberg nature reserve. This area is an isolated part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Hidden in the forest is the Lommerrijk, a beautiful amphitheatre. In the past there was a pond here that formed a natural basin after the reclamation, a wonderful place for an open-air theater. Along the way you walk through coniferous and deciduous forests and past a few heaths, coppice groves, rolling fields and picturesque open spaces. The Sallands agricultural museum De Laarman is located on the edge of the nature reserve. Here you can see old farm equipment and learn more about the history of vegetables. You walk back through the cozy center of Luttenberg.
