Power and splendor of Hanseatic cities: Zwolle / Hasselt

Zwolle and Hasselt are two fascinating Hanseatic cities on the IJssel. The glorious history of the medieval Hanseatic League has left its mark on these cities. During this bike tour you will see a number of these traces. In the Middle Ages, merchants sailed across the seas on small cogs to trade with other countries.
