Description
A day of cycling through the Achterhoek equals lots of nature, many sights and lots of hospitality. From Questionnder you first drive to the former fortified town of Groenlo. In the center there are a number of beautiful monumental buildings, such as the Old Calixtus Church, which was built between 1275 and 1520. In Meddo you will pass the John the Baptist Church from 1864, and in Winterswijk you will pass the Freedom Park, among other things. Here lies a boulder from the Ice Age, it is the second largest found in the Netherlands. LEV. by Mike is an ideal place for a pit stop. After a meal on the cozy terrace, you drive back into nature. How wonderfully peaceful it is to cycle in this region! Finally, you pass through the picturesque book town of Bredevoort.
