E-bike route Syen Venn, Denekamp and Noord-Deurningen

Your route starts at Restaurant Hotel Wyllandrie. Denekamp is a nice and green town on the Dinkel to cycle through at your leisure. In the center you will find the thirteenth-century St. Nicholas Church. You will also cycle past the Sint-Nicolaasmolen, a beautiful flour mill from 1859. Grain is also ground in the Borgelinkmolen from 1818. This mill was owned by the Borgelink family from 1870 to 1992. You drive a bit through the heath and pine forests of the Lutterzand. Just across the border in Germany you pass through the bird-rich and moist grasslands that surround the ancient raised bog of the Syen Venn. North Deurningen Monastery is an old manor and farm, which has probably existed since the beginning of the thirteenth century.
