Discover the Liemers

This route takes you through the Liemers. You drive through a landscape with vast fields, meadows, hedgerows and small forests. The Hanseatic city of Doesburg is one of the few Dutch cities that has been so well preserved: enjoy! Just before Didam you see De Korenbloem, a corn mill from 1855. Further on is Havezate De Luynhorst, which dates from 1340. The noble house was rebuilt into a farm in 1788. In Didam it is time for a pit stop. You can enjoy a nice terrace with Jan and Jan for food and drinks. You can also get off further afield for a snack at the Plok food garden. Finally, Laag-Keppel is on your route. Here you will see two old water mills and a castle whose origins date back to the fourteenth century.
