Discover the Liemers

This route takes you through the Liemers region. You'll ride through a landscape of vast fields, meadows, hedgerows, and small woods. The Hanseatic city of Doesburg is one of the few Dutch cities so beautifully preserved: a real treat! Just before Didam, you'll see De Korenbloem, a corn mill dating from 1855. Further on stands De Luynhorst Manor, dating from 1340. The noble house was rebuilt as a farmhouse in 1788. In Didam, it's time for a pit stop. You can enjoy a drink and a meal at Jan en Jan on a cozy terrace. Further on, you can also stop for a snack at Plok food garden. Lastly, Laag-Keppel is on your route. Here you'll see two old watermills and a castle with origins dating back to the fourteenth century.
