The project'Along Pilgrim Roads to Scherpenheuvel\\\' wants to make the network of ancient pilgrimage roads to Scherpenheuvel recognizable again. On the basis of a participation process in various municipalities, we reconstructed the old pilgrim roads together with the population.

A retired teacher, Walter Van Braeckel, reconstructed the original path, from the Atlas der Buurtwegen, better known as Sentier 94. In Herselt, this route is known as the'Beeweg\\\', the dialect for 'pilgrimage road\\\'.
You start at VTC De Mixx and then pass the Sint-Servatiuskerk, the traditional starting point of the pilgrimage.
