Description
Partly a Church Path that starts in Liempde near Boxtel. Beautiful route through typical Brabant landscape. With 1x crossing of Dommel with a ferry.
The ferry has recently been improved and is easy to navigate.
Please note: this route follows unpaved paths as much as possible and therefore sometimes deviates from the junctions. So look carefully at the map . This way you walk as little as possible on paved roads with traffic and cyclists. It is much more beautiful and adventurous this way.
At junction 5 you can also turn right towards 6. You will then come to a beautiful half-timbered barn and the Pigeon Tower on the Dommel, with an information center.
Or as an alternative route you can go towards 68 at the last T-junction, do not go left to 68 but to the right. Then you walk a bit and take the first road on the left. In the spring storks sit on the nest there, then you continue along the path towards 5. This also takes you past the Pigeon Tower and information center.
