The Eight Beatitudes

This route takes you through the Eight Blessings. You will cycle a beautiful long day through nature and rural tranquility surrounding eight historic villages in Brabant. In Grenspark De Kempen, vast forests, babbling brooks, and the expansive Cartierheide await you. The deeper you penetrate into the heart of this cross-border region, the quieter it becomes. In Eersel, you pass through De Markt and Hint, which enjoy protected village status. The route makes a stop approximately halfway at Hotel De Bengel. You can enjoy a wonderful stay and meal here, allowing you to split the route over two days. At the Kempenmuseum De Acht Zaligheden, housed in a characteristic long-gabled farmhouse, you will learn more about the history of this region.
