The Eight Beatitudes

This route takes you through the Eight Beatitudes. You cycle for a beautiful long day through nature and the rural tranquility around eight historic villages in Brabant. Extensive forests, babbling brooks and the vast Cartier Heath await you in Grenspark De Kempen. The deeper you penetrate into the heart of this cross-border area, the quieter it becomes. In Eersel you pass through De Markt and Hint, which enjoy a protected village view. The route makes a stop approximately halfway at Hotel De Bengel. You can stay and eat here wonderfully, so you can divide the route over two days. In Kempen Museum De Acht Zaligheden, located in a characteristic long-gable farmhouse, you can learn more about the history of this region.
