On the road through the Brabant Sahara

If you don't know any better, you might think that the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park is located in another country. With its exceptionally large sandy plains, dunes up to twenty-four metres high and coniferous and deciduous forests, it forms a unique nature reserve. It remains fascinating to walk through the loose drifting sand in the Loonse en Drunense Duinen. Look around you and enjoy the sandy yellow plain and the metres-high dunes. In the forests surrounding the sandy plain you will find some wonderful cooling. Just like at Herberg De Drie Linden where you can enjoy a good meal, a cup of coffee or something refreshing with a view of characteristic long-façade farms. Relaxing here should not be a problem at all.
