Special discoveries in Midden-Twente

Your cycle route starts at Cafe Restaurant Bowlingcentrum't Witte Hoes along heathlands, stream valleys and historic buildings. This route takes you through the Reggedal, the Borkeld heath reserve and the clog village of Enter. For example, you drive through the valley of the Regge river. Bring a picnic and settle down on a blanket by the rippling water. You start at Restaurant Poort van Twente, where you can sit on the terrace or inside for a snack and a drink before you set off. Then you get on your bike to explore the area. You cycle along vast heathlands, wonderfully quiet. You also cycle through Enter, the village of clog makers. On the Brink is the largest clog in the world, made from one piece of wood.
