Aelderholt - Meppen - Mepperdennen - Aalden (22km)

Nice tour with our two young children riding in front and behind. First part through open country, strong breeze, then the direction changed and we drove sheltered through the forest. Meppen an atmospheric place, and then straight into the beautiful real forest. Very beautiful, especially with the water and all the birds in the background. Our children also had fun spotting the many birdhouses hanging everywhere. On the way back there is a cut off section, a bit bumpy, so if you don't like that, keep to the normal junction route. :-)
