Description
Vijfheerenlanden, between Lek and Diefdijk.
Tip: look for a route where you cycle before the wind on the way back.
- Lek, Diefdijk and Merwede Canal.
- Vianen, Schoonrewoerd, Meerkerk and Lexmond.
- There are no detours between junctions 20 and 6 on 21 and 5. Do not go through the village in Lexmond, but keep following the beautiful Lekdijk high up to Vianen.
- Between Schoonrewoerd and Meerkerk you can shorten the route by 7 kilometers by cycling over Middelkoop. Do not turn right at point 58, but go straight on and then left into the meadows, and then right across Middelkoop towards Meerkerk. Follow the Merwede Canal to the left, take the next bridge and cross the cycle path past the mill.
Tip: look for a route where you cycle before the wind on the way back.
