Walk through Hoenderloo and the Hoenderlose Bos

Taking a walk through the woods is a nice way to work up an appetite. This route takes you to the Hoenderlose Bos. If you cross the Otterloseweg, you will see five characteristic thatched service houses that were built between 1920 and 1925 by order of the Kröller-Müller couple. The houses have the status of a national monument. In the Hoenderlose Bos you can walk along stately avenues that are lined with old oaks and beeches. Nature can take its course here, so you have a chance to spot a squirrel or deer. In autumn you can see a lot of mushrooms here. Back in Hoenderloo you pass the striking white Heldringkerk from 1858. At Brasserie Delicat you can end the walk in style with a delicious meal.
