Walk through Hoenderloo and the Hoenderlose Forest

A walk through the forest is a nice way to work up an appetite. This route takes you to the Hoenderlose Bos. When you cross the Otterloseweg, you will see five characteristic thatched service houses that were built between 1920 and 1925 by order of the Kröller-Müller couple. The houses have the status of national monument. In the Hoenderlose Bos you walk along stately avenues that are lined with old oaks and beeches. Nature is allowed to take its course here, so you have a chance of spotting a squirrel or deer. In the autumn you will see many mushrooms here. Back in Hoenderloo you will pass the strikingly white Heldringkerk from 1858. At Brasserie Delicat you can end the walk in style with a delicious meal.
