Description
Schiedam is the Dutch Distillers District of the Netherlands with numerous distilleries and distilleries. In the Jenever (and Gin!) capital you will find the tallest windmills in the world and monumental warehouses. Located on the water and surrounded by greenery. The tour boat takes you past old ports, historic ships and characteristic drawbridges. A bustling catering industry and flourishing cultural life with 4 special museums: the National Jenever Museum, Museum Mill De Walvisch, the Cooperative Museum and the Municipal Museum Schiedam with modern art from after 1945.
The start and end point of the route is in the center of Schiedam.
The TOP Schiedam (Schiedamseweg) is also a great base for beautiful cycling and walking routes through Schiedam and the hinterland.
