Touring along the banks of various lakes in Wallonia for a day? You really don't have to cross half of Belgium for that. On this cycling tour in the Ardennes you will find the lakes next to each other. A wonderful area to explore by bicycle.
The lakes of l\\\'Eau d\\\'Heure
You drive along the banks of the l\\\'Eau d\\\'Heure: 5 lakes that were created in the seventies on the course of the river Eau d\\\'Heure. Such a large lake area is a rarity in such a hilly and green region. The banks have a total length of 70 kilometers. So here you can cycle along the water over a greater distance than on the Belgian coast. On part of the route you also cycle through the vast and untouched forest that borders the lake.
Picnic
Along the route you have enough places to spread out a blanket to eat a baguette with regional cheese. A great opportunity to chat, to enjoy the view of the hills and the water or to take a dip in the water. After your bike ride it is wonderful to come home to your bungalow at Landal Village l\\\'Eau d\\\'Heure.
