Cycling across the Sallandse Heuvelrug

Your route starts at Bistro de Oale Ste / Camping de Noetselerberg. As soon as you cycle into the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park, you will notice how quiet it is here. You cycle through fragrant and fresh forests and over the vast heathland. In August and early September you will be enchanted by an endless purple plain, but it is actually beautiful here all year round. Just below Haarle you will pass the white'Palthekasteeltje\\\' with its characteristic square tower, on top of the Sprengenberg. Beautiful spot! In Hellendoorn you can get off at the Smederij Museum D\\\'Oale Smederie. The heart of this museum consists of an old forge, complete with a forge fire and a 200-year-old bellows. In the accompanying shop you can buy or have handmade wrought iron objects made.
