Description
You will notice during this cycle tour that the Netherlands is not yet that flat. You cycle straight through De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park with tough climbs. These climbs are rewarded with beautiful views over this truly unique landscape where the black grouse still occurs. On your route you will also find the charming towns of Hellendoorn and Nijverdal. After cycling for about 20 kilometers you can take a break at Bistro de Oale Stè for a tasty snack and a drink. The Sallandse Heuvelrug is a striking appearance in the Overijssel landscape and the area can be seen from afar from all sides. The'massif\\\' has peaks of different heights. On your route you will pass the Sprengenberg, where you cannot miss the white'Palthe Castle\\\'.
