Media city
Hilversum is synonymous with radio and television and that's why it's so nice that your boarding point is right next to the Mediapark. Eetcafé't Pandje with the thatched roof is your starting point. Loosdrecht lakes
The Loosdrecht lakes were created by peat extraction. The typical strips of land that cut straight through the water are remnants of this time. These are so-called laying fields where the dredged peat was laid to dry to make turf. The cozy ribbon village of Oud-Loosdrecht is located in the middle of the water and consists of five streets and three dikes. From Loenen aan de Vecht you cycle a few kilometers with De Vecht. The region around this river, the Vecht region, has a grandeur that is due to the prosperity in the Golden Age. On the way back from Kortenhoef-\\\'s-Gravenland to Hilversum you cycle past beautiful country houses. Wealthy Amsterdammers built stately mansions here at the beginning of the seventeenth century. The gardens were expanded into parks with long avenues and water features. Since the 1930s, Natuurmonumenten has gradually acquired ten country estates around's-Graveland. The capital houses have largely retained their grandeur and the history of their construction can still be read in the gardens.
