Tour of Grevelingenmeer and Oosterschelde

From Bicycle Rental Renesse you are the first to drive through the old heart of Renesse. There are several beautiful monumental buildings on the historic ring road, and you can also see the Jacobus Church from 1506 here. You cycle through the dunes to the Brouwersdam, the seventh project of the Delta Works. Then you cycle a few kilometers along the Grevelingenmeer. From the path you have a beautiful view of the rippling water. You will pass through Brouwershaven, where you will find many beautiful old buildings within the fortress walls. Further away is Schuddebeurs, a beautiful hamlet hidden in greenery. You cycle through Zierikzee, after which you continue along the banks of the Oosterschelde. On the right you look out over the Prunjepolder, a nature reserve rich in birds. You will also find a characteristic ring around the church in Noordwelle.
