Tour of the Grevelingenmeer and Oosterschelde

From Fietsverhuur Renesse you first cycle through the old heart of Renesse. On the historical ring road there are some beautiful monumental buildings, you can also see the Jacobuskerk from 1506 here. You cycle through the dunes to the Brouwersdam, the seventh project of the Delta Works. Then you cycle a few kilometers along the Grevelingenmeer. From the path you have a beautiful view over the rippling water. You come through Brouwershaven, within the fortress walls you will find many beautiful old buildings here. Further on lies Schuddebeurs, a beautiful hamlet hidden in the green. You cycle through Zierikzee, after which you continue along the banks of the Oosterschelde. On the right you look out over the Prunjepolder, a bird-rich nature reserve. In Noordwelle you will also find a characteristic ring around the church.
