Description
A cycle route of 51 km. Cycling through the North Holland polder landscape with its wide views and many watercourses to the historic cheese city of Alkmaar, this route is already beautiful. From mid-April to the beginning of May, this route can certainly be called'colorful\\\', as that is when the flower bulbs bloom at their best.
On the way back you can stop at Hortus Bulborum in Limmen (open between April 6 and May 16). The Hortus Bulborum is the only flower garden in the world where more than 4000 different historic spring-flowering bulbous plants bloom.
Via the Zeeweg you cycle through Bakkum back to the campsite. Would you like to go to the beach for a while? At the roundabout, cycle straight ahead in the direction of Castricum Aan Zee. You can also cycle to our campsite via the dune area, then follow the signposting çacamping Geversduin/Heemskerk\\\'.
