Three faces from Gelderland

Where can you find three completely different landscapes in one cycle route without having to cross the border? The answer: Gelderland. West of Renkum you cycle through an ancient stream valley with babbling brooks and wet grasslands. The forests are also not lacking, after all you are cycling on the edge of the Veluwe. North of Wageningen you cycle for a while through the open and flat landscape of the Gelderse valley. As you cycle along the canal, you see the wooded Grebbeberg looming on the horizon. At junction 32 is the Grebbesluis. Along the grassy floodplains of the river it is wonderful to cycle on, while enjoying the wide view. At Wageningen you pass the Arboretum and cycle into the forests. The route ends at Boscafé De Beken.
