Tour of Daelenbroeck Castle and Meinweg watchtower

Your route starts at Camping De Meinweg - Huttopia. You first take a tour around Daelenbroeck Castle. Feel free to take a look or grab a terrace here! Your route also takes you through De Meinweg National Park where you will find a unique and varied plateau landscape in the Netherlands. These terraces were created over tens of thousands of years by the erosion of the Meuse and three fault lines in the earth's crust. You cycle past dense old forests and stream valleys. This is the only area in Limburg where you will find the viper, you may even see it sunbathing. Climb the observation tower for a beautiful view of the entire park and on the way back, drop by the De Meinweg Visitor Center to find out more about this special area!
