Mill route through Dal van de Mosbeek

Your route starts at Camping Dal Van De Mosbeek & Theeschenkerij De Manderie. You walk through the quiet woods on the Galgenberg, an almost 70 meter high hill that owes its name to the executions that took place here in the Middle Ages. You can also see tufts of heather here and there. Between the Mosbeek and the Galgenberg you can enjoy the rolling Twente landscape. Here you will pass some characteristic farms, which have managed to withstand the test of time beautifully. Real gems are the watermills, the Mill of Bels and the Mill of Frans. One is a restaurant, the other an information center. They are beautifully situated in the Valley of the Mosbeek. A great region for hikers thanks to the scenic variation and the hiking route network that you will find here!
