Mill route through the Mosbeek valley

Your route starts at Camping Dal Van De Mosbeek & Theeschenkerij De Manderie. You walk through the silent forests on the Galgenberg, an almost 70 meter high hill that owes its name to the executions that took place here in the Middle Ages. You can also see tufts of heather here and there. Between the Mosbeek and the Galgenberg you can enjoy the rolling Twente ash landscape. Here you will pass some characteristic farms that have withstood the test of time. Real gems are the watermills, the Bels Mill and the Frans Mill. One is a restaurant, the other an information center. They are beautifully situated in the Mosbeek Valley. A nice region for walkers thanks to the landscape variety and the walking route network that you will find here!
