Tour of Bergen op Zoom and Wouwse Plantage

Your route starts at't Wagenhuis. Winding dikes, flowery meadows, creeks and salt marshes: this is the face of Northwest Brabant. An unknown cycling gem where you can cycle carefree through cultural history. Via Steenbergen you cycle to the Brabantse Wal. This moraine was created during the last Ice Age. The edge of the sand plateau reaches a height of up to 20 meters. The Wouwse Plantage is also worth a visit, this is one of the most beautiful forest areas in the Netherlands. There are many coniferous forests on this estate, which was built in the sixteenth century. The centuries-old buildings seem untouched by time. Stroll through the picturesque center of Bergen op Zoom, where you will see the fourteenth-century Prison Gate. In Nieuw-Vossemeer you pass through the characteristic old Voorstraat. Here you will see a beautiful church from 1649.
