Around Wijchens Meer

 
The start (and finish) is at restaurant Sterrebosch Eten & Drinken . We walk through the Market to the St. Anthony Abbot and can take a look at the Lourdes Grotto .

Then towards the Wijchens Meer , which we walk around in a clockwise direction. We walk past das Blue Boat and through the park of the Oosterweg to Wijchen Zuid, halfway there used to be the studio of the Wijchense Omroep (there is now only a mobile phone mast).

 
Via'South\\\' we continue on the other side of the lake. There must be kingfishers somewhere... 

We continue walking all the way to the westernmost part of the lake. Then again along the north side of the Wijchens Meer towards the Wijchens center. 

Just before the center we can see the monastery garden of the Tienakker and the Mariagrot . Then via the park to the Touwslagersbaan to the Markt and finally back to Sterrebosch Eten & Drinken .


[ Everyone is free to walk the route in the other direction, or to walk only 1/3 or 2/3. At the roundabout near the police station there is a possibility to cross, just like at the end of the Hogeweg. ]
